Funds Desperately needed to Continue Providing Essential Food to Dogs in Serbia
SWAP team has received an urgent appeal from one of our supporters for funds desperately needed to help a rescue shelter in Serbia continue feeding over 400 rescued street dogs that are currently in their care. (Please see original appeal below).
The shelter has to buy 250 loaves of bread a day which mixed with other food provides the dogs with their essential daily meals.
Debts for bread purchases have sadly accumulated due to lack of funds and now the bread provider is refusing to supply anymore bread to the shelter until some of the debts are paid, leaving the dogs without a vital food supply.
If you would like to help these dogs continue receiving their essential 'daily bread' by kindly making a donation to the shelter please email ELA immediately at ela.josephs@btinternet.com and she will be able give you the details you need.
Your generosity could help to save these dog's lives!!!

Jelena, an activist in Serbia who has over 400 rescued street dogs under her care, has to buy around 250 loaves of bread every day, which are mixed with meat, gravy and vegetables to provide a good daily meal for the dogs. They have this food five days a week and dry dog food the other two, so it an essential basic for them.
At the moment, Jelena will not be provided with any more bread by the supplier until some of the existing debts are paid for past bread purchases. That amounts to the equivalent of about £1200 sterling.
If anyone can help give a donation of any size to Jelena so that she can pay off at least some of the debt, then there is a very good chance she will be allowed to go back to the 250 loaves being supplied every day. The bread is an essential supplement for the dogs food at the shelter.
Please give anything you can.
